28 March 2006: Hektor in Japan
It's confirmed: Jürg Lehni will end his 4 month stay in Japan with a short Hektor show at Trico Information Gallery, organized by the emerging proposal unit Field Trip.
The show will be a three day long event from April 14 to 16: A combination of wall painting, performance and the micro mass-production of souvenirs for your collection.

Over the last few days I uploaded a selection of Hektor movies on Google Video. They are all linked to from the Videos page. The videos can also be downloaded in higher resolution from Google Video directly. Each clip comes with a link that directly takes you there.
11 August 2005: Say Hello to Rita
Say Hello to Rita, Hektor's new high tech sibling.
This is the first of many results to appear here from the show «Rita + Hektor» in Tensta Konsthall, Stockholm. Expect much more to come in the next few
Rita was produced together with the great engineers / tinkerers Bruno Thurnherr and Marcel Ackerknecht from Defekt GmbH.
The linear bearings and brushless DC motors where kindly provided by Festo Sweden.
Rita was supported by Sitemapping.ch and the Swiss Federal Office of Culture.
14 May 2005: Rita & Hektor
Together with a new drawing device called Rita, Hektor is shown in the exhebition «Rita + Hektor» at the Tensta Konsthall in Stockholm, Sweden.
Rita makes her first appearance using a set of whiteboard markers on a large glass panel. Constantly drawing, erasing and drawing again, she works like a display.
Hektor will gradually spray paint texts and images over the gallery walls, starting on 14 May (12:00 - 17:00) and finishing on the Grand Finale.

Together with the Graphic Designers Laurent Benner and Jon Hares, Hektor has contributed to the show ?You Are Here ? The Design of Information? in the Design Museum in London. If you are close by, you may want to go there and have a look, the show is open until the 15th of May.
